El comité Damas Trabajadoras nace mediante la gestión y el apoyo de un grupo de mujeres que se encontraba trabajando en dicho lugar. Las integrantes del comité fijaron como objetivo principal el crecimiento de cada una de ellas en lo personal como laboral, son un grupo de 21 señoras emprendedoras.
La Sra. Mirta es la presidenta del grupo, tiene 32 años, ella es una mujer muy emprendedora y capaz de liderar un grupo numeroso como lo es este, durante todos estos ciclos ha demostrado ganas de superación. Ella se dedica a la venta de todo tipo de productos, como ser de frazadas, sabanas, fundas y demás. Comenta que le va muy bien y que siempre tiene muy buenos pedidos por lo que le gustaría poder seguir con su negocio.
