The Azurita (Azurite) communal bank is comprised of seven women who live in the Garcia municipality west of the city of Monterrey. They chose this name because in addition to being a precious stone, it is considered to be lucky. Most of the woman in this group are merchants and sell different products like clothes, bed linens, and beauty products.

Concepción Alejandra is one of the women in this group. Concepción is 22 years old. She is married and has two children, ages one and five. She loves them with all of her soul, and she struggles day to day to get them ahead. Concepción gets up every morning in order to go sell her products door to door. She sells different cosmetics, make-up, and products to take care of the skin.

Azurita es un grupo compuesto por 7 mujeres que viven en el municipio de
García, al oeste de la ciudad de Monterrey. Ellas escogieron el nombre de Azurita porque además de ser una piedra preciosa, la consideran ser de la suerte. La mayoría de las mujeres de este grupo son comerciantes y venden diferentes productos como ropa, blancos y productos de belleza.

Una de las mujeres que integran este grupo es Concepción Alejandra.
Concepción es una mujer muy responsable de 22 años de edad, está casada y tiene 2 hijos, de 1 y 5 años a los cuales quiere con toda su alma y por quienes lucha día con día para sacarlos adelante. Concepción se despierta cada mañana para salir a vender sus productos casa por casa. Ella vende distintos cosméticos, maquillaje y productos para el cuidado de la piel. Con este crédito, Concepción, espera poder ofrecer a sus clientes una variedad más amplia de productos y de esa manera ella poder apoyar a su esposo con los gastos en en hogar y con los estudio de su hijo.
