The Amigas de Fe y Alegría communal bank will begin its fifth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Germán Busch regional office. It is made up of eight members and is directed by a board of directors headed by Ilaria. The businesses that the communal bank members carry out are varied; among them we have an ice cream shop, fish sales, fried chicken, newspaper sales, potato and cheese sales, sales of "salteñas" [fried pies], mattress production, and food sales.

Ilaria indicates that she has been working with Pro Mujer for two years and that she joined the institution on the invitation of an advisor. Currently she has a "pollos a la broster" [fried chicken] business that she has had for years.

The loan she will get now is to increase her capital buying supplies, which she will buy in La Ceja and after making it she will sell in her space. This type of work allows her to generate resources to help her family, since she is married and has three children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responds that she likes sharing.

In the photograph Marcia is not present because she had a medical appointment.
