Seydou was born in 1974 in Tiokorola, in the Sikasso region. He lives in a traditional family with his wives and is the father of two children. He lives in Kadiolo prefecture, within the third administrative district of Mali. He has been in the grain business for over eight years. His experience in this area has earned him a good reputation and he receives orders for grains, especially maize. In order to have the necessary funds to satisfy his customers, he has decided to work with the Soro Yiriwaso micro-finance institution and has requested his first loan with them. This loan will allow him to buy three and a half tons of maize. He buys his merchandise in and around Kambo. He stores his grains in his shop. He sells wholesale for cash to male customers and often carries his orders to Sikasso if necessary. With this loan, he is expecting average monthly profits to reach 80,000 CFA francs. The profits earned will allow him to repay the interests on his loan. He will invest the rest in his business.

Monsieur SEYDOU est né en 1974 à TIOKOROLA préfecture de SIKASSO. Père de 2 enfants il vit dans une famille traditionnelle avec ses épouses à KADIOLO (troisième région administrtive de la république du Mali).
Il mène des activités de commercialisation de céréales depuis plus de 8 ans. Son expérience dans ce domaine, lui a valu une bonne réputation et il reçoit des commandes de céréales, notamment du maïs. Ainsi pour avoir les ressources nécessaires afin de satisfaire ses clients, décide de collaborer avec l’Institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso, il est a son premier prêt.
Ce prêt lui permettra d’acheter, 3 tonnes et 1/2 de maïs. Il s’approvisionne à KAMBO et environnants. Les céréales sont stockées dans son magasin. Il les revend en gros au comptant à une clientèle composée d’hommes et souvent il les transporte à SIKASSO au besoin.
Avec ce prêt, il envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 80 000 FCFA. Ce bénéfice lui permettra de payer les intérêts de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.
