A group of women in the city of Ita has formed a group called Kuña Mbarete. They are very industrious and hard-working women, who day after day make the effort to be able to give a better life to their families. The group now consists of 16 women who are in their third loan cycle in Foundation Paraguay's program for entrepreneurial women.

Mirian is one of the members. She tells us that her beauty salon is the sustenance of her family. It is well equipped with every type of article. She comments that thanks to the friendliness with which she tends to her customers and thanks to the good quality of her work, she has been able to see her business growing little by little. Her goal is to continue growing and helping her family.

Mirian is applying for a loan to stock her business with dyes, gel, hair spray, shampoo, rinses, and other supplies necessary for her work.

En la ciudad de Ita se ha conformado un grupo de mujeres denominado Kuña Mbarete, ellas son mujeres muy trabajadoras y luchadoras, que día a día se esfuerzan para poder darle lo mejor a sus familias. Actualmente está integrado por 16 mujeres, quienes están en el tercer ciclo del programa de mujeres emprendedoras de las fundación paraguaya.
Mirian es una de las miembros, ella cuenta que el sustento de su familia es su peluquería, la cual está bien equipada con todo tipo de artículos. Comenta que gracias a la amabilidad con que atiende a los clientes y gracias a la buena calidad de sus trabajos es que ha podido mir creciendo de a poco. Su meta es seguir creciendo y ayudando a su familia.
Mirian solicita el crédito para abastecer su negocio con tintes, gel, spray para pelo, shampoo, enjuagues y demás insumos necesarios para su trabajo.

The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
