Jose Gabino
Jose, age 59, resides in the municipality of Patuca. His family is comprised of his wife, who dedicates herself to housework, and their two children, who go to school.


Jose began working when he was very small. He recalls that he did not much like going to school, and he used to leave in order to go to a neighbor’s coffee farm to help with the work. As time passed, Jose involved himself more in the coffee business, and when he became an adult he decided to begin his own coffee farm. Currently, he has 38 acres of planted land.


With the support of this loan, Jose will be able to buy baskets for collecting coffee, pay laborers for the harvest, and pay for transport in order to bring his harvest to market. With the support of this loan he hopes to increase his earnings and in this way improve the economy of his household. This is his first loan with FAMA and he hopes to make all his payments on time.

Jose, tiene 59 años de edad, reside en el municipio de Patuca, su familia esta conformada por su esposa quien se dedica a los quehacerse del hogar y sus dos hijos quienes estudian en la escuela.

Jose inició a trabajar desde muy pequeño, recuerda que no le gustaba mucho ir a la escuela y se escapaba para ir a la finca de cafe de su vecino para ayudar con las labores. Despues el tiempo fue pasando y Jose fue involucrandose mas en el negocio del cafe y cuando llegó a la adultez decidió iniciar su propio cultivo de cafe y actualmente tiene sembradas 22 manzanas de tierra.

Con el apoyo de este prestamo Jose podrá comprar canastas para la recoleccion del cafe, pagar la mano de obra por la recoleccion y el pago del transporte para sacar su cosecha al mercado. Con el apoyo de este prestamo espera aumentar sus ganancias y de esta forma mejorar la economía de su hogar. Este es su primer prestamo en FAMA y espera cumplir con el pago de sus cuotas puntualmente.
