A loan of $3,425 helped a member to buy clothing for resale.

Mujeres Luchadoras Group's story

These fighting women formed a group at the suggestion of one of the members who put forth the idea for the good of her neighbors, and this was their encouragement, and from there this communal bank came about. There are currently 17 women, all of them friends and neighbors, who are in the 8th cycle of the program for women entrepreneurs of the Fundación Paraguaya (Paraguayan Foundation).

One of the members is Maria, who works selling all kinds of clothing. She comments that she began with a lot of sacrifice, but thanks to her efforts and work and the help of the foundation she could grow and get ahead.

One of her goals is to have a big store where she can sell her garments.

She is asking for a loan in order to buy summer clothing, with which she can stock up and be able to offer a greater variety to her customers.
