For more than 25 years, Julia has worked selling food from a rented spaces. Thanks to her business, Julia has been able to improve her living space, and she is now buying her own property. Julia's wish is to finish the construction of her home. WIth the goal of improving her business, she is applying for a loan to buy tables, silverware, and a microwave, and in this way, provide her customers with a better experience. For work-related reasons, Rosa, one member of the group, was not able to be present for the initial distribution of capital (when the photo was taken).

Hace más de 25 años que la Sra. Julia se dedica a la venta de comida, en un local alquilado, gracias a su negocio la Sra. Julia ha podido mejorar su calidad de vida.

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
