Hussein is a 32-year-old Lebanese single man who lives with his only one parent and two siblings. After finding it hard to cover his family expenses, he decided to double his effort and combine forces with his siblings. He started working as a painter in 1992 on a free-lance basis. He’s a reputable man, known for his good and well-organized work. Today, he’s asking for a loan of $2100 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to a buy new painting tools to improve his business. This Kiva loan will allow him to start his new business, else he won’t be able to carry on his work as it should be done. In the future, he plans to open his own painting shop.
