She is a local merchant and devotes time to operate a sales business from her home. She sells many types of merchandise, which she buys from her suppliers, often at discounted prices for being a frequent customer.
Currently, she is requesting a loan in the amount of $700 to purchase additional merchandise so that she can increase her sales. With the balance of the loan proceeds, she plans on buying 100 poultries to raising on her yard. Mao hopes to improve her standard of living through the loan form Kiva. She is very appreciative of Kiva's assistance.
