Mrs. Chhon, age 44, has spent most of her life time cultivating rice for her livelihood. She always works alongside her husband on the existing farmland. She in now blessed with six children, one of who lives independently and has started a new family.
At this time, for her second loan, she is asking for 3,000,000 Riel (KHR). She'll use the loan to pay for a rented plantation, on which she plans to grow her potato crops this year. With the increase in income, she'll save to buy a medium size plantation for growing potatoes and other types of crops.
