Rolly is 31 years old and is married with one child. She is from the village of Poblacion, Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur. To make a living, Rolly owns and operates a store where she sells daily use products such as milk, dried fish, sugar, shampoo, soap, and toothpaste in the local community. Rolly has been engaged in her business for over 14 years and earns approximately 27,500 PHP a month. She joined GDMPC in 2010 to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities.
Rolly is requesting a 50,000 PHP loan to purchase new items to expand her product offerings. She plans to use the additional revenue generated with her loan to improve and expand her business.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
