Casilda (Flat) Group
In this Group: Jose Eediel, Aldrin, Maria Eduviges
The "Casilda" group is made up of three persons; two men, and a woman who live in a really pretty place with a very large lake.

María Eduviges was the one interviewed. She is married to Daniel, and they have two children they are still responsible for. She applied for the loan in order to buy ingredients for making meals, an activity she has been doing for two months.

What inspired her to do this was her family; to help with the household income. This way her husband doesn't have the pressure of being the only one who works. So she made up her mind to set up her own business.

The members of the group are José Ediel, who will use the loan to buy merchandise to stock his grocery store, and Aldrin who will invest in an auto parts shop.

Additional Information

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
