Imane is a 49-year-old Lebanese widowed woman. She has three children, one of whom is working. She strives to work really hard in order to offer them a better future. After fifteen years of experience in the trading field, she decided to start her own home business is 2007 where she sells clothes, shoes and lingerie. She works independently and has gained a fair number of shop owners who are looking to buy her products. Today, she’s requesting to borrow $1600 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase more clothes and other products for her business. She notes that this will help her develop her work and boost her profits. In the future, she plans to open her own boutique.
