Thavy, 38, is married and resides with her husband and five children in the Takeo province of Cambodia. She is a skirt weaver. Her husband works for the military in Phnom Penh. All of her children are still in her care. Thavy is requesting a loan of USD 1,200 to purchase more silk to weave skirts at home which she will sell. In the future, she would like to build a kitchen and support her children's studies until they each get a bachelor's degree.
