María se dedica a la venta de cosméticos y productos de belleza los cuales reparte a crédito a varios clientes de la zona y otros lugares de la zona central. Su hijo tiene un equipo de amplificación que alquila para todo tipo de acontecimientos sociales. Es la primera vez que María trabaja con préstamos de emprender y espera utilizar el dinero para la compra de más productos de belleza y así incrementar su capital y sus ingresos. De manera paralela a la venta de los productos de belleza, María también se dedica a la costura junto a su hermana pero esta actividad solo es por temporada. Ella anhela poder algún día comprar una casita e incrementar sus ingresos.
