Arnold, age 38, is married and has three children; ages 14, 13, and 6. He lives in Dorado Santa Bábara.

Arnold has been growing coffee for 15 years. He makes the seed beds, and then he plants them. He has two “manzanas” (a manzana is just under half of an acre) and other land that he inherited from his father.

He grows the “paca” and the “catuaí” varieties of coffee. He sells the wet parchment coffee in the local market. His family also devotes itself to this business activity. This product is currently very profitable.

He has requested three loan from ODEF. He has been able to improve his crops with those loans. Now he will invest in planting the coffee nursery, pay labor costs, and buy fertilizers.

His goal is to improve his quality of life and that of his family.

Arnold, hace 15 años que se dedica al cultivo de café, hace sus viveros luego los siembra, cuenta con dos manzanas cultivadas, mas otros terrenos que fueron heredados por su padre, siembra café de variedad paca y catuaí. Lo vende en pergamino húmedo en el mercado local. Su familia también se dedica a esta actividad. Este producto actualmente es muy rentable.
A solicitado 3 prestamos a ODEF, con ellos a podido mejorar sus cultivos. Actualmente va invertir en siembra de vivero de café, donde pagara mano de obra y fertilizantes. Su meta es mejorar su calidad de vida y de su familia.
