The Alegría Women’s Committee is in its first loan cycle with the Foundation’s women entrepreneurs program. In this program all the members work together collectively so they can reach their objectives. Each woman works independently but also helps develop activities with the other members to collect funds as working capital for the group.

Sra. Silvia is a member of the group. She earns her living selling food. She always has a lot of customers because her food is much appreciated. Silvia is known as a hardworking enterprising woman who is not afraid of work. Her principal goal is to continue growing her business as each day passes.

Silvia is seeking a loan to buy ingredients for the food she makes and as well to add to her supplies so she can make a greater variety of dishes. As a result she will increase her income and improve her standard of living. Silvia says that her household is greatly benefitting from the income from her business.

El Comité de Mujeres de nombre La Alegría se encuentra en el primer ciclo del programa de mujeres emprendedoras de la fundación, donde todas las integrantes trabajan en forma conjunta y solidaria dentro del programa, para que de esa forma puedan alcanzar sus objetivos. Además del trabajo independiente de cada una, también desarrollan actividades en forma conjunta para recaudar fondos con el fin de contar con un capital dentro del grupo.
La Sra.Silvia es una de las integrantes, quien se dedica a la venta de comidas, comenta que siempre tiene muchos clientes pues sus comidas son muy apreciadas por sus clientes. Ella se define como una mujer muy trabajadora y emprendedora que no tiene miedo al trabajo, dice que su meta principal es seguir creciendo cada día más y más.
Ella solicita el crédito para invertir en los ingredientes que utiliza para elaborar sus comidas y así surtir más variedades de alimentos y de esta manera también mejorar su nivel de vida e ingreso económico. Ella nos comenta que mediante este negocio la economía en su hogar esta mejorando bastante.
