Rajab
Rajabhola is a retired woman, who has many children and lives in a mountainous district, where animal husbandry is the primary type of work and business. The entire family - daughters-in-law, sons and grandsons - help to look after the livestock. Rajab's husband is also a retiree. He works part-time at a collective farm and supports the family budget somewhat. Besides feeding livestock, the women spin yarn from their goats' wool and knit socks and other goods for sale. Over the period of obtaining financing with us, Rajab increased her livestock headcount and somewhat improved her housing conditions. She married off her son, and our loan helped her a lot, for which she is grateful and plans to continue working with us. She plans to use this loan to purchase small livestock.
