Jemal is 24 years old. He married a short time ago and lives now with his wife Nargiz and parents in the village Iremadzeebi, West Georgia. Jemal works as a truck driver in the village. Along with his main job, he is actively involved in the family's agricultural activities. They have 0.8 hectare land, where citruses and vegetables are grown. Also they have 8 milk cows. Jemal’s mother makes traditional Georgian cheese. Both the cheese and the harvested crops are sold locally to retailers. Total average monthly income of the family is 700 Laris.
Jemal requested credit for purchasing 2 additional milk cows. The family will produce and sell more cheese and their income will grow. With the increased income, Jemal’s family will be able to improve their living conditions, purchase more necessary household goods.
