This solidarity group was created July 9, 2002. It consists of five women who live in the same neighborhood. Their main activity is retail trade.

Madame Georgette (who is raising her hand at the left of the picture) is responsible for the group. She is 61 years old, married with seven children. She also takes care of two other children entrusted to her by their parents.

She is active in selling oysters, palm oil, brooms, beignets (fritters) and peanut paste. She has good experience in this area of activity, which she has exercised for several years.

This loan will bolster her capital and help her to further develop her activities.

Le groupe de solidarité est créé le 09 juillet 2002. Il est constitué de quinze femmes qui habitent le même quartier. Leur activité principale est le commerce.

Madame Georgette qui est à la gauche de la photo levant la main est responsable de groupe. Elle est âgée de 61 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de sept enfants. Elle a aussi en sa charge deux autres enfants confiés par ses parents.

Elle s’active dans la vente d'huitres, d'huile de palme, de balais, de beignets et de pâte d'arachide. Elle a une bonne expérience dans ce domaine d’activité, qu’elle pratique depuis plusieurs années.

Ce prêt lui permettra de renforcer son capital et de mieux développer ses activités.

Les profits lui permettront d’améliorer les conditions de vie de la famille (santé, nourriture, habillement etc.…) et d’augmenter ses épargnes.
