Mrs. Kong is a 39-year-old mother of 3 single children. Mrs. Kong and her husband are in same business, cultivating rice crops year-round for their livelihoods. As shown in the photo, living in a longstanding thatched house causes the whole family experience many difficulties. Mrs. Kong has saved some money to purchase a finished house but until now her capital has not been enough to buy one. By chance, a nearby villager would like to sell his land and house because he will move away. Therefore, Mrs. Kong is applying for a loan from Kiva to supplement her capital to buy the house. She hopes all lenders will not reject her loan and kindly help her family.
