Khadija is a very hard working woman who has been practicing mixed farming for over five years. She also has a hotel, which she manages as a secondary business. She is 29 years old and married. She and her husband have two children.
She is applying for her second loan. She plans to use part of the loan to buy farm inputs like maize seeds and fertilizers and the other part to purchase more food stuffs for her hotel business. She intends to use the additional income from the proceeds of this loan to buy cattle for fattening and to pay her children’s school fees.
She hopes to develop her business and be financially stable in the future.
