Virginia sells dry meat or "charque", She buys beef cattle from the market in the settlement of Achacachi. She cuts up the meat, then puts salt on it to dry the meat, and once it is dry, it is charque. She does this work with her father. She mainly sells in Coroico in the Yungas region.

At the time of the visit, she was selling charqui with her mother in El Alto. She sells her products every two weeks. This activity is her main source of income.

La Señora Virginia tiene como actividad la venta de carne seca "CHARQUE", compra ganado vacuno de la feria dela localidad de Achacachi, Corta la carne y luego coloca sal para el secado de la carne una vez seca es el charque, este trabajo realiza con ayuda de su Papa, su venta principal es en Yungas Coroico, el momento de la besito se encontraba vendiendo el Charque junto con su Mama en El Alto, vende quincenalmente sus productos, esta actividad es su principal fuente de ingreso para ella, en esta ocasión solicita financiamiento para aumentar su capital de negocio, comprara ganado vacuno y así de esta manera incrementar sus ingresos para mejorar la calidad de vida de ella y de su familia, ya que esta actividad es su única fuente ingresos.
