Kassem is 31 years old. He is a single man and lives with one of his parents and a sibling. He and his brother work hard in order to meet his family's needs and provide a comfortable life. After twelve years of experience, Kassem opened his own shop selling car wheels in 2005. He sells wheels in the highest volume possible in order to please the maximum number of customers.
At this time, he is requesting a loan of $2,100 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. in order to purchase additional wheels to sell in his shop. This loan will enable Kassem to increase both his sales and his earnings. In the future, he plans to open his own shop selling cars.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
