Beatrice is 41 years old and married with four children aged 6 to 15. All of the children are currently in school. She works as a tailor and sells clothes in a store she has run for 17 years. Beatrice would like a loan to buy fabric, thread, and needles to make more clothing. Any profits will be used to pay the school fees for her children. She dreams of running a big sewing workshop where she can employ other women.
About Urwego Opportunity Bank of Rwanda (UOB)
Urwego Opportunity Bank (UOB) is a Rwandan bank specializing in microfinance. It offers credit products to individuals and groups interested in starting or expanding their businesses. It also offers training in business development, financial literacy and health management.
