Chona is from the village of Clarin, Misamis Occidental. She is 31 years old. Chona is married and has two school-aged children.
To make a living, Chona owns and operates a motorcycle transport service. Chona has been engaged in her business for over seven years and earns approximately 10,600 Philippine pesos (PHP) a month from these activities.
Chona is requesting a loan of 25,000 PHP, which will be used to pay for the cost of maintenance and repair of her motorcycle.
In 2010, Chona joined GDMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her business and living situation. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the loan to improve and expand her business.
