Ali is a 26-year-old Lebanese married man who lives with his wife and child. He’s doing his best to offer them a good standard of living. For that reason, he decided to open his own home products shop in 2005 and is looking forward to grow his business.
He sells high-tech products at fair prices which make his customers loyal to him. Today, he’s asking to borrow $2,500 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to buy added supplies for his shop such as refrigerators, televisions, plastic item and many others. He’s sure that buying these new supplies will help him earn a superior income. In the future, he plans to work as a wholesaler.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
