Zeinab is a 25-year-old Lebanese single woman. She lives with her parents and three working siblings. Her father is satisfying their needs to be capable of living as they should be. In order to help him, she decided to start her own business. So she opened her clothing shop in 2009. She sells stylish, fashionable, and trendy clothes.
Today, Zeinab is requesting a loan of $1600 from Kiva's partner Ameen s.a.l to purchase a new collection of clothes, such as dresses, scarves, pants, and many other items. She notes that this loan will certainly push her to get higher returns. In the future, she plans to open other branches as soon as possible.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
