Le groupement MAHUCLO est composé de treize personnes qui résident dans le même quartier. C'est la deuxième fois que ce groupe sollicite l'aide financier de ALIDé, afin d'élever le niveau de son activité. La représentante du groupement, du nom de Jeanne Léocadie est celle qui a la main levée sur la photo. Jeanne Léocadie est âgée de 39 ans et vit au Bénin. Jeanne Léocadie a arrêté l’école au niveau primaire. Jeanne Léocadie est mariée à un entrepreneur du nom de Elias. Le couple a trois enfants tous scolarisés et à sa charge. En plus de leurs enfants, le couple a un autre enfant à charge. Jeanne Léocadie vit ensemble avec son mari et ses enfants. Afin d'assurer les diverses charges de la famille, Jeanne Léocadie exerce depuis quatre ans la couture à son domicile. De façon secondaire, Jeanne Léocadie vend des céréales, des chaussures et des tissus. Jeanne Léocadie s’approvisionne dans une ville du Bénin et au Togo. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle et pour accroître son chiffre d’affaire et son revenu, Jeanne Léocadie sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupement MAHUCLO, un deuxième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Le premier prêt a été bien remboursé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
