Giorgi is from the village of Kolagi, in the Kakheti Region. He is 64 years old and lives with his wife, Nina. Giorgi and Nina earn their living through agricultural activities. They own a 2-hectare peach orchard and a 0.14-hectare vineyard. Giorgi sells his grapes and peaches locally. The family's total average monthly income is 700 laris.
Giorgi has requested a loan to purchase fertilizers for the peach orchard. After proper fertilization, Giorgi can count on a good harvest next year, which will bring additional income to the family. He will also use part of the loan to pay his seasonal workforce.
