Gia is from the village of Kolagi in the Gurjaani District. He is 45 years old, married, and lives with his family: his wife, Nana, their 18-year-old daughter, and 14-year-old son. The children go to school.
Gia has a tractor. He provides tilling services to the farmers in his and nearby villages. It is the main source of income for the family. Along with the tractor, the family owns 0.1 hectare land, where peach trees grow. The family sells peaches in the local market. The family's total average monthly income is 800 Laris (GEL).
Gia requested this loan to purchase mowing equipment, which will be fixed to the tractor. After purchasing the aforementioned equipment, Gia will provide not only tilling, but also mowing services to his client farmers. It will increase family's income. Gia plans to use the additional income to purchase additional parts for the tractor in order to diversify the services provided to his clients.
