Nargila is 41 years old. She is from the village of Beitarabchi, East Georgia. Nargila lives with her 21-year-old son and retired mother. Nargila and her son lead the family's agricultural business. They have a milk cow, five calves and ten sheep. The family sells dairy products and lambs on the local market. In addition, Nargila’s family owns four hectares of land where different corns and vegetables are grown, which are also sold locally. The family's total average monthly income is 600 Laris.
Nargila has requested credit for cultivating the land. After cultivation, Nargila will sow corn and vegetables. She hopes that the weather conditions will be favorable this year and she will get a good harvest, which will be sold locally. Nargila will use the extra income to finance the family’s daily living costs.
