This member belongs to the “REYNITA DE BELEN DE CCORAO” Communal Bank, which is located in Ccorao district, in Calca province and Cusco department. Sra. Juana is 48 years old, married and has three sons, 25, 18 and 12 years old.

Juana buys and sells all kinds of grains at the Cusco market. She sells every Sunday and when she is not selling there, she is at her stand in the handicraft market selling her different handmade items such as caps, scarves, sweaters and ponchos, all in alpaca and sheep’s wool. She is a very enterprising woman and wants to help her sons get ahead and see them become professionals. That is the reason why she works so hard everyday – to serve as an example for them and to provide them with amenities in the home and support them in their studies.

Juana is requesting the loan to purchase alpaca and sheep’s wool, as well as synthetics, in order to produce her handmade items. She is grateful for the loan and is committed to making her payments on time.
