Marlene is a married woman from the town of Luna, in the province of Isabela, Philippines. She and her husband are both farmers who primarily grow crops of rice to sell. Marlene has requested a loan amounting to PHP 50,000 to purchase quality seeds, fertilizer, and other farming supplies.
Marlene does her best to improve their business and take care of their children. She hopes to have a bigger farm in the future, and to help improve her family's living conditions.
