Marcos is a widower with two children. He is 58 years old and resides at Sumalig, Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur, the Philippines.
Marcos is operating a fishing business, harvesting and selling farm-raised fish in the local community and he has been four years in this business. Each month he earns PHP 5,000 doing this type of business.
He has requested a loan of PHP 20,000 to purchase additional fish to raise. Marcos has been a member of GDMPC for one year. In the future, Marcos wants to save for future emergencies.

Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
