Alberto, a 40-year-old widower, lives in the Philippines where he has operated a shop that sells green bananas and coconut for copra for the last 10 years. A member of HSPFI since 2011, Alberto is requesting a loan for PHP 5,000 to buy more bananas and coconuts to sell. In the future, he hopes to improve his business.
