Stéphanie is a member of Dukundane Group. She's 36 years old and married with four children, aged 4 to 11. Out of them, three attend school. Her own level of educations amounts to three years of elementary school.

Stéphanie is a potato farmer. This is her second loan cycle with Kiva's partner, ACB. She will use her loan to buy seeds, chemical fertilizers, rent fields, and pay for labor for her potato farming business.

Her strategy for growing her business is to modernize her farming techniques. In the forthcoming years, Stéphanie would like to become a large potato cultivator in her region. With her profits, she intends to send her children to school.

The mission of Amasezerano Community Bank (ACB) is to have a holistic, positive impact on the lives of poor people by providing quality financial services. This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
