Nodar is a young farmer from the village Dertseli, in the southern part of the country. He is 25 years old, married and lives with his wife, Nona, and 2 daughters (1 and 4 years old). The only source of the income for the family is agriculture. They have 6 milk cows and 7 calves. Nona produces cheese and they sell it on the local market. Also, the family grows potatoes on family-owned 1.25 hectares of land. The potatoes are sold on the local market as well.
Nodar decided to expand his existing dairy farm. He requested credit for purchasing 2 additional milk cows. Nona will be able to produce more cheese and the family income from cheese sales will increase. Nodar and Nona will be able to create better living conditions for the family, especially for the children.
