Levan is a 62-year-old farmer from the village of Babaneuri, Kakheti Region, East Georgia. He lives alone. His source of income is an agricultural business. In particular, he has two milk cows and three calves. Levan produces cheese and sells it to local retailers.
Also, he has two hectares of land where he grows maize. Levan sells the maize in the local market. His total average monthly income is 800 Laris.
Levan requested a loan for purchasing calves. He will grow the calves and when they start milking, he will be able to produce more cheese. This will increase Levan’s income, which he will use for improving his living conditions.
