Maria Rosario
María sell patasca (soup made of cooked white corn that’s been boiled and accompanies typical national dishes like fricassee and fried pork rinds). She lives in her own home, located in the plan 3000 zone. She has four children, but only takes care of her daughter because the others are adults and on their own. She’s been selling patasca on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for several years. She also has three rooms that she rents out.

She will use the money from this loan to build a roof on her patasca stall. Now that the rainy season has started and she can’t sell because the rain ruins her sales. María is a hardworking person and is grateful to the institution for the support.
