Giorgi is a 33-year-old farmer from the village of Rekha, East Georgia. He is married and lives with his big family: wife Nanuli, 3 children (13, 7 and 1 years old) and parents. The elder children go to school. All adult members of the family are involved in agriculture, which is the main source of income for the family.
The family owns 2.5 hectares of land where 100 apple and 100 peach trees are grown. Also, part of the land is used for tomato and cabbage growing. Along with the above-mentioned, the family has a milk cow. They produce cheese and sell it on the local market.
Giorgi requested credit for purchasing a milk cow. The family will increase cheese production and sales by 100%. It will increase the income of the family. Giorgi plans to reinvest the increased income in further development of the family farm, in order to expand it and make more profitable.
