Houy, age 44, is married and has two children who are still in school. She earns a living as a seller, selling food, mangoes, drinks and other fruits. She supplements her income by farming. She has been with her business for 17 years in a village located in the Tbaung Khmum district.
This is Houy’s first loan with VisionFund. She is requesting a loan from VisionFund to buy fertilizer for her rice field. She will also use some of this loan to increase her business by buying some fruits, drinks, etc. With this loan, she hopes to increase her crop yield as well as her business, and also earn more income so as to keep her children in school.
