The Bamtaré group was formed on 17th May 2011 after a local credit bank was established. It is made up of 13 women who all live in the same village. They all sell various goods for a living.

Madame Khadiyatou (sitting at the far right of the photo with her arm raised) is the group leader. She is 26 years old and is married with five children.

She sells rice, oil, soap, tea, sugar and other mixed goods; she buys them at weekly markets and re-sells them in her village. She has been involved in this line of work for a number of years.

Her loan will enable her to purchase greater volumes of these goods.

The profits that she generates will enable her to improve her family's living conditions by helping her to support her husband.

Le groupe Bamtaré a été créé le 17 Mai 2011 lors de l’inauguration leur banc villageois. Il compte 13 femmes qui habitent toutes le même village. Elles font toutes le petit commerce.

Madame Khadiyatou (assise à l’extrême droite de la photo et le bras levé) est responsable du groupe. Elle est âgée de 26 ans. Elle est mariée et mère de cinq enfants.

Elle est vendeuse de riz, de l’huile, du savon, du thé, sucre et autres produits divers qu’elle achète à travers les marchés hebdomadaires pour les revendre dans son village. Activité qu’elle exerce de puis plusieurs années.

Son prêt va lui permettre de mieux s’approvisionner en ces produits qu’elle commercialise.

Les bénéfices lui serviront à améliorer les conditions de vie de la famille par le fait de soutenir de son mari dans les charges familiales.
