Vanna, 43, is married and resides with her husband in Takeo Province, Cambodia. Vanna is a farmer and raises animals at home. Her husband is a motor-taxi driver.
Vanna is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase a motorbike for her children to commute to work in the city. By doing so, her family will be able to decrease expenses for public transportation.
In the future, she would like to use any additional income to repair her house. This will be her second loan from KREDIT, a longstanding Kiva partner.
KREDIT Ltd. is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia. The organization empowers the economically-active poor and small entrepreneurs by providing inclusive financial services. Beyond loans, KREDIT offers low-income clients complementary training in debt management, savings and budgeting.
