Aminata is 35 years old and lives in southern Senegal. She is married and has 2 children who are both in elementary classes (CI and CP) at the French school.
Aminata has been selling fish since 2005. She gets her supplies in a village north of her town and resells them at her local village market. Her workdays start at 7 and end at 11, and her income enables her to help her husband with the household expenses.
Aminata would eventually like to be able to use the profits from her business to buy some land and build on it, so that she can provide her children with a good future.
