El señor Vidal tiene 51 años y vive en Brisas del Paraíso, una aldea que pertenece al municipio de Jesus de Otoro. Ha estado casado 27 años con su esposa Orfilia, la cual es ama de casa. La pareja tiene 4 hijos de 32, 30, 28 y 22 años de edad. Vidal vive con su esposa y un nieto. Uno de sus hijos le ayuda económicamente.

Hace 3 años, don Vidal empezó una pulpería con solo L20,000. En la pulpería vende productos de la canasta básica como lácteos y granos básicos. También vende productos como papel higiénico, churros, y medicamentos. Atiende a su clientela de las 6 de la mañana a las 9 de la noche. Puso la pulpería para no trabajarle a nadie y crecer como comerciante. Antes, don Vidal se dedicaba a la agricultura.
