Joseph is a 30-year-old business man who lives in Juba. He is married and has three children between the ages of one and 10, two of whom go to school.
Joseph sells food and household goods, and has had this business for a year and a half. He heard about Kiva field partner Finance Sudan through a door-to-door promotion done by loan officers. He plans to use the proceeds of this loan to buy items such as tomato paste, powdered milk, salt, and detergent. This business is Joseph's only source of income, and in five years' time he hopes to be able to build his own shop.
