Sean,59, is married and lives in a rural area of Ponhea Krek district. She has ten children, seven of whom are dependents, working at the rice field and tailor shop. To earn a living and feed her children, she has been farming on her rice field for 40 years. Before the loan, she earns less than 8 US dollars per day to feed her family.
Now applying for a first loan with VisionFund,Sean will use this loan to buy fertilizer for her rice field and use some of the loan to build a small tailor shop for her daughter. With this loan, she hopes she can earn more income to build on some savings for future needs, especially for her children.
