Pavel makes his living driving a taxi around the city of Khoost in the beautiful western Ukraine. A pleasant mannered young man, operating his own taxi has fulfilled Pavel’s long-term desire to be self-employed. He offers good service to his customers and tries to give them an enjoyable ride. Pavel has been in business for about 2 years. His monthly income is typically around $700, a good middle wage for a single person.
Pavel has requested a six month loan of $500 to help purchase a fare meter for his taxi. These meters allow taxi drivers to more accurately charge for their services based on time and distance rather than set fares. We are happy for this opportunity to help Pavel improve his business and continue his success.
